In Day #8: Give me Your Eyes
When you effectively and consistently strive to apply God's strategy on how to gain His wisdom Knowledge of His Word + Understanding (applying His Word) = God's Wisdom your vision becomes clearer because your mind's renewed. This is where you activate your faith and start to believe in God's character [He is who he says he is] and where it is continually rooted in believing in His promises [He said it and I believe it. No matter what!]. Having His eyes strengthens your spiritual muscles and activates your faith. This is the Hebrews 11:1 experience: Hebrews 11:1 AMP Now faith [having His Eyes] is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. This chapter goes on to give us examples of the Hebrews 11 experience by naming ordinary people who did extraordinary things all because they chose to activate their faith. They became Faith Giants because they had God's vision for their lives. So, how do you get His vision? In order for us to find the strategy on having His vision, we must reread Hebrews 11:1. Let's define faith and hope: According to Compact Bible Dictionary: Faith is a belief in or confident (trust) attitude toward God, involving a commitment to His will for one's life. Hope is defined as confident (trust) expectancy. As we reread Hebrews 11:1 and dissect the above-mentioned words, we can see God's strategy to having His Eyes. Trust that God has you (Philippians 4:19). Commit to the process (yeah I know...smh! I don't like it either, but it's necessary) no matter what (Proverbs 3:6). Live in constant expectation of how God's going to work everything out for your good (Romans 8:28). Have a firm assurance of things unseen and unknown and all things are under His control (Hebrews 11:1). The Application Bible sums up God's Vision strategy best, " Faith is the confidence based on past experiences that God's new and fresh surprises will surely be ours." All we have to do is activate our faith. Journal: Choose a Faith Giant ( Moses, Joseph, Esther, Ruth, Rahab, Jael, Deborah, Mary, Martha, David, etc.) in the Bible that resonates with you and write in your journal how they demonstrated the four strategies of having God's Eyes in their life. Soon after, write your own living epistle on how you are activating the four strategies in an area in your life. #faithinaction Prayer: Father, You are the Master Strategist and I know you have it all planned out. You are a master at working behind the scenes while I am still trying to figure our what am I suppose to do. However, all you ask of me is to trust, commit, expect, and have firm assurance in You. Give me dove eyes, Abba. Give me undistracted devotion to You. Abba, I deeply desire to consistently look beyond the hills from where my Help comes from. Father, remind me as I walk into my purpose and destiny that you are the Maker of heaven and earth. Comfort me by sending reminders through out my journey to remind me that You got me. Strengthen me in those moments that seem as if I am by myself. Give me Your eyes, so that I can consistenly activate my faith. Thank you for working everything out for my good. In Jesus Name, Amen!

In Day 4: What's on Your ❤..
What's on Your ❤ Lord? - Lana Vawser Communication is a two-way process. It requires effort on both parties involved in the process of communication. In my spiritual journey, I’ve heard many say that prayer is just having a conversation with God. If that’s the case, why do we (myself included) spend so much time petitioning God for what we need and not take the time to listen to what's on His Heart? Why do we allowed life's (husband, children, career, business, church, smart phones, social media, ect.) to get in the way of seeking Him. Matthew 6:33 (AMP) 33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. People, titles, objects, or even our own ambitions are not bad things, but they can become a major barrier when they begin to fight for our attention. We must intentionally aim at or strive after placing God first in all areas of our lives. We must delight ourselves in the Lord. Psalm 37:4 (AMP) 4 Delight yourself in the Lord, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. Merriam-Webster defines delight as a high degree of gratification or pleasure : JOY. The Vine's Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words states that the Greek Word for delight in is SUNEDOMAI which means to rejoice with (anyone), to delight in (a thing) with others, signifies to delight with oneself inwardly in a thing, desire or pleasure. So to delight ourselves with someone means to experience joy, pleasure, and desire to be around them. Similar to when you get the opportunity to getaway with your girlfriends. You are able to be totally relaxed, be vulnerable, and be you. This only has happened because we've taken the time to connect and get to know each other well. In order to delight ourselves in the Lord, we must take the time to get to know Him better. We must commit to daily relinqushing control of everything and entrusting Him with all of it. I mean He can do a far better job in caring for us, our family, and any other life challenges that comes our way. All He desires is for us to seek and delight ourselves in Him, so we can tune our ears to what's on His heart. Prayer: Father, please forgive me for allowing people, objects, career, and even my own selfish ambition get in the way of our relationship. Please forgive me for always giving you a laundry list of request for myself and for others and not take the time to hear what's on Your Heart. As a dear pants for water, so I Iong for You, O God. I thirst for more of You. You are the most important relationship in my life. I entrust everyhting to You. I choose to stay here with You and hide in Your secret place. I love You. My greatest desire is to delight myself and seek more of You. I am eager to know what's on Your Heart. In Jesus Name, Amen. Scripture Journal: Write the verses below in your journal and meditate on them today. Write out a prayer or declaration out of them. Then pray or declare them over your life. In Day #3: Peeling Back...
As you undergo the Spiritual and Smoothie Challenge, know that it will “feel” like your emotions are all over the place (going through withdrawals and confusion) and life (distractions) go up a couple notches. The truth is that it’s like peeling an onion when you’re cleansing your life (spiritually, mentally, and physically). It’s literally like peeling an onion. You’ll cry feel uncomfortable and might not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but you’re peeling back all the toxins in your life to get to the heart of the matter as you return back to Him. - What are some “toxins” you’ve been peeling back from your life? - What does God say about these toxins? - Write down other revelations you’ve had about your spiritual and health journey.
